Not On The Road

I just looked at my site and was somewhat distressed to remember that it still has my on-the-road theme. It's been what, four months since the trip? Obviously, it's time to change that, but I think that may have to wait until Christmas.

In the last couple of weeks, I have discovered the benefits of not studying at home. No, that's not (at home, not studying), but (elsewhere, studying). I tend to get too distracted by other opportunities when I study at home, so I've been going places, like the library at school, which is the most gorgeous place ever.

I have wireless internet on my laptop now, which makes it easier to go elsewhere to study. I can still access all the stuff online that I need for my classes, while being removed from things like, the tv, and the opportunity to take naps.

The first weekend I spent the whole weekend out and about studying, I promptly came down with some flu-like illness that kept me in bed for all of Monday and Tuesday. So I was slightly nervous about doing the same thing this weekend, but convinced myself that getting sick was random, not caused by too much studying.

It's hard to believe that the quarter is more than half over now. My study group was meeting this weekend, and we diverted for a while into dreams of Christmas break. Everyone is definitely looking forward to it!

And, thankfully, I didn't wake up sick this morning. The worst thing that happened to me last night was endless dreams about supply and demand curves.
